Where is the Accommodation?

We have chosen accommodation that is centrally located and close to public transport so you can access all the sights and sound of London at your convenience. If you prefer to stay in a smaller shared accommodation, London Accommodation might be the best option for you located in zone 2. You can extend your stay online with London Accommodation. St Christopher's are funky, safe and conveniently located backpacker hotels in central London. You can choose between one of 6 hostels in London: The Village - Southbank , The Inn- Southbank, The Orient Esspresso - Southbank, Shepherd's Bush - West London, Camden - North London, Grennwich - South London.

Will you help me find a job?

Absolutely! We provide you with the resources to find jobs all over the city, including employment publications and online listings. Then you apply for the jobs that interest you.

I heard opening a bank account in the UK is really hard. How can you help?

Most UK employers will require bank details in order for them to pay you your salary Opening a bank account if you are not a UK citizen can be a very frustrating and time-consuming process-but not with us! We can help you get your bank account set up within 72 hours of your attendance at the London orientation. We give you all the information you need to take to London so you are prepared when you arrive. At the orientation, we give you a hand with the paperwork so within 72 hours, you are ready to go!

Can I get my bank set up before I leave Australia?

With our program, you get your bank account set up immediately upon arrival but not before. Some banks offer this option but beware-most often this requires you to pay a hefty fee and you need to have a good chunk of money in the bank in order to open up the account.

How much money do I need to open my account?

There is no minimum balance!

ON THE JOB

How do I pick up my transfer?

Your transfer will take you from the airport to your accommodation, or if you are staying with Accommodation London, they will take you to Paddington Station, whilst those staying at WakeUp! and St Christophers will be dropped off at the door.

What happens at the London orientation?

At the orientation meeting, you will meet other travelers from around the world who are as excited about being in London as you! The orientation is 2-3 hours, and covers all aspects of living and working in London. You also will receive your drink card and vouchers and can book your seat on your hop on-hop-off city tour.

Where are the orientations held?

We give you full contact details prior to your departure. Upon arrival in London, you just call the number we provide to confirm your place at an orientation session of your choice. Sessions are very easy to get to as they are just minutes from Victoria Station- very convenient for travelers!

How often are orientations held?

Orientations are help approximately 2-3 times per day Monday through Friday throughout the year.

What are the working hours in the UK?

Office hours vary depending on what industry you work in. Standard working hours in London are 35 - 40 hours per week.
